There is a download in there for the framework. Are you trying to install are you trying to install Sims 3pack files in your mods folder? Are you unzipping the downloads or just copying them in? I'm on Win7 here is the path to my folder and its contents:C:UsersMyNameDocumentsElectronicArtsThe Sims3ModsAnd inside the Mods folder is:Cache FolderOverrides FolderPackages FolderResource.cfg fileIs ^^ this the way your set up looks? All downloads need to be UNZIPPED (I use 7Zip to extract) and installed into the Packages folder and will look like this when unzipped and installed:nameofmodorcc.packageI installed my sims 3 slightly differently: E:Electronic ArtsThe Sims 3Mods because I have an 240GB SSD as my main hard drive and 1T HDD as my secondary and it has alot more room.
Inside the mods folder I have everything accept from a Cache Folder. When I used the framework I 'extracted here' (I use WinRAR) but even the 2 mods that came with it didn't work. So you need a Cache folder?
Ill try it and see what the results are.EDIT: Nope still doesn't work:/. For more info on files/folders see Folders Explained (not clear when you updated your patch or how long you've had an issue but: If you just updated your patch and only 'a few of the mods are working' check ALL mods to make sure they are the same as your last patch update.
Did you clear all Caches before loading the game after updating? If that does not work I'd suggest starting a new thread and provide more detail with regards to exactly what is and is not working.saying you have the same issue as the OP is not much to go on.
