Divinity 2 Armor Crafting
Armors are usually expensive and their parameters are not always satisfying. However, an armor made yourself is cheap and its parameters are similar or higher.

Edit: DOS2Can someone give me a bit of a rundown on crafting and combining items?First off I have a ton of base food items and consumables. Second I have a ton of crafting items. But they seem to just be cluttering my inventory!I looked through the wiki and it seemed there really wasn't much to craft or combine?Another thing is the crafting seems almost useless (aside from crafting scrolls). For example all the weapons seems bad or useless.
Why even bother crafting them? And it seems i can only make a handful of potions.Another thing is 'enchanting' your weapons. Doesn't seem like you can even do much other than poison your blade or use a relic. The list is pretty tiny.Am I missing something here? Is there much of a point to either crafting or combining?P.s what is the best use of 'essences'?
I have many of them but never used them. Yeah there really isn't much to craft.
The most important ones are:. 2 healing potions of the same tier get you a healing potion one tier higher.
The same goes for poison bottles (and many other potions, but I never use those). 2 of the same runes + 1 pixie dust give you a rune one tier higher. Im gonna assume DOS1 gor this:Its been a while since I played but crafted weapons are good for early -mid game when your weapon begins to lag behind in level. If I remember correctly they scale with level and when sharpened on a grinding wheel can be pretty decent weapons to get you through act 1.I cant remember uses for essences besides scrolls and spellbooks myself or the occasional elemental stat on weapons and armour. Also theres plenty of guides/tables out there if you do a quick google. Heres the first one I found in two seconds:.

Well keep in mind there's no skill requirements this time around. Yes you could make great stuff in the first game but you had to invest in crafting skills to do it.In this game its more about making improvised gear til you get better stuff. At least those do improve by level.

Not much, but something. But you use the system for way more than armor or weapons so saying it should be removed is silly. Thats without even counting quest usage of the system. And runes can be enhanced through he crafting system and used on your armor/weapons so there's that. Originally posted by:Well keep in mind there's no skill requirements this time around.

However I disagree with the 'you get basic gear until it's improved'. I didn't have to craft a single piece of armour or a weapon.
The only one I've crafted is the eternal armour, because it's actually very good for its level. Originally posted by:However I disagree with the 'you get basic gear until it's improved'. You're fresh off the boat with whatever random crap you found and want another weapon type.
Get out the duct tape to cover you til you find something better. That's my point, you find something better barely 10 minutes after you get out of the boat.
